Submissions
We are delighted to accept submissions for Coffin & Nails Publishing. Our list focuses on new novels in horror, thriller, fantasy, and science fiction, showcasing debut authors.
Fiction
We are a micro-publishing house, which means we publish books for general readers and make them available through indie-publishing trade channels (i.e. Amazon, Apple, Kobo, Lulu, etc). For Coffin & Nails Publishing, we seek novels in the range of 70,000 to 120,000 words.
We have a preference for completely new novels, previously unpublished in any form. However, if you retain the rights to a previously released title and wish to submit it, we may consider it.
Submission Requirements
We require the following:
- Query Letter: No more than 250 words.
- Word count
- Sample chapters: Please submit the first 3 chapters or up to 10,000 words.
- Manuscript format: .doc, .docx, or .rtf files in Shunn format.

Response Times
We aim to acknowledge receipt of submissions within one working week. Our goal is to provide a decision within 2-3 months, though this timeline may vary depending on the season and the volume of submissions. Our editorial team strives to maintain regular communication with our writers and to provide encouragement and feedback, particularly for new authors.
