At Coffin & Nails Publishing, we are committed to providing honest, quality support to help bring your book to life. We guarantee the following:

No AI-Generated Content: We do not use AI to generate, edit, or ghostwrite content for our clients. All feedback, editing, and formatting are completed by experienced professionals with a human touch.
Author Ownership: You retain 100% ownership of your work. We do not claim or take rights from authors, ensuring you are always in control of your creative vision.
Transparent Pricing: There are no hidden fees. We clearly outline all costs upfront, so you know exactly what to expect without surprises.
No Vanity or Hybrid Publishing Practices: We do not charge for publication rights or offer deceptive packages. All costs are covered through book sales. Once expenses are recouped, we provide high royalties, giving you the majority of the earnings.
Hands-On Guidance: We act as partners in your self-publishing journey, offering personalized support without pushing you into predefined molds. Your story, your path.
A La Carte Services: Our services are a la carte, allowing you to select only what you need. Whether it’s editing, formatting, or guidance on a specific aspect of publishing, you’re in control of choosing how we can best assist you.
Community Participation: All clients have the opportunity to opt-in or opt-out of being a beta or ARC (Advance Review Copy) reader for other authors in our community. This allows you to give back, learn from others, and be part of a supportive network of writers.

Timely Communication: Clients are expected to communicate in a timely and professional manner to ensure the smooth progression of services.
Accuracy of Information: Clients are responsible for providing accurate information and materials (e.g., manuscripts, project details) necessary for service completion.
Adherence to Deadlines: Clients must adhere to agreed-upon deadlines for submissions and feedback to facilitate timely service delivery.
Respect for Professional Boundaries: Abusive or inappropriate behavior towards Coffin & Nails Publishing staff or other clients will not be tolerated.
Original Work Policy: Clients must confirm that their submitted work is original and not derived from AI generation, in accordance with the rules set forth by the Horror Writers Association (HWA) AI policy.

Cost Recovery from Sales: All service costs are recouped from book sales. No upfront payments are required unless otherwise specified.
Third-Party Services: If any third-party service is utilized, such as an external editor or cover artist, these parties will be paid directly and not through the cost recovery from book sales.
Royalties: Once the costs of services are recouped from book sales, authors receive high royalties, ensuring the majority of earnings return to you.

Ownership: Authors retain full intellectual property rights to their work. Coffin & Nails Publishing does not claim any ownership or control over your creative content.
Usage Permissions: By engaging with our services, you grant Coffin & Nails Publishing permission to use your name, book title, and cover image for promotional purposes unless explicitly stated otherwise.

Cancellation Rights: Authors may cancel their contract with Coffin & Nails Publishing at any time.
Responsibility for Costs: Upon cancellation, authors are responsible for ensuring that the costs incurred by Coffin & Nails Publishing in relation to their project have been fully recouped.
Covered Costs: These costs include, but are not limited to, editing, formatting, and marketing expenses.
Termination of Obligations: Once these costs are repaid, no further obligations remain, and the contract will be terminated with all publishing rights released to the author.
